Oaks Disposal Service observes the following holidays. If a holiday falls on a weekday, service for that week will be delayed by one day for all customers.

How to Set Out Your Bins
Place your garbage and recycling bins at the curb by 6:00 a.m. on your scheduled pickup day. Bins should be set out the night before if your pickup falls early in the morning route.
- Bins must be curbside by 6:00 a.m.
- Leave at least 3 feet of space between bins
- Keep bins clear of parked cars, mailboxes, and utility poles
- Lids must be fully closed for pickup

- Bagged household garbage
- Food waste and scraps
- Paper towels and tissues
- Disposable packaging and containers
- Small household items
Not Accepted:
- Construction debris or renovation materials
- Tires or automotive fluids
- Electronics
- Hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, batteries)
- Yard waste (leaves, branches, grass clippings)
- Liquids
Recycling Guidelines
Oaks Disposal Service collects single-stream recycling, making it easy to sort. Place all accepted materials in your recycling bin together. Refer to earth911.com to find local options for proper recycling.

- Cardboard and paper (flattened boxes, newspapers, magazines)
- Plastic bottles and jugs (rinsed)
- Glass bottles and jars (rinsed)
- Metal cans and aluminum (rinsed)
Not Accepted:
- Plastic bags or film
- Styrofoam
- Electronics or appliances
- Hazardous materials
- Food waste
